Trofeo Mediterráneo 2027
The Trofeo Mediterráneo is an early-spring football tournament on the Costa de Barcelona-Maresme, drawing around 200 teams from over 15 nations to Malgrat de Mar for a six-day festival. Teams arrive on the Saturday and are welcomed at the meeting point for check-in. The opening ceremony on Sunday brings every team into the stadium for a parade and national anthems before the opening match. The week includes a beach soccer session, and on the penultimate evening the tournament hosts a "Resume" — an official invitation for one representative of each team to a review evening with typical Spanish food and drink, alongside a presentation exchange with the town hall. Quarter-finals and semi-finals run on the Wednesday, with finals that afternoon and an evening awards ceremony. Age groups play 11 vs 11 on the big field (U13 to U19 juniors), 7 vs 7 on the small field (U11 and U12 juniors), 11 vs 11 for U15, U17 and Over17 girls, and 7 vs 7 for U13 girls. Optional excursions include a Barcelona panorama bus tour with Camp Nou, the Activ Natura adventure park, and Fútbol Golf in Santa Susanna. Registration deadline: 5 February 2027.
